Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

Manage and develop our hybrid infrastructure across on-premises Windows Server environments and Azure
Install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot Windows Server systems in on-premises environments
Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform, Bicep, and Microsoft DSC
Apply GitOps principles for configuration and deployment automation
Automate processes and tasks with PowerShell and other tools to ensure efficiency and reliability
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders
Share your expertise with team members and support them in technical matters

Qualifications

Completed technical education (university or equivalent)
Several years of experience in designing and operating hybrid cloud infrastructures (Azure and on-premises Windows Server)
Deep knowledge of Windows Server administration, including installation, configuration, patching, and incident resolution
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, Microsoft DSC) and automation (PowerShell)
Familiarity with GitOps workflows and best practices
Python scripting experience is a plus
High level of self-motivation, structured working style, and willingness to mentor others
Excellent English skills (spoken and written); German is a plus
Willingness to travel within Switzerland and participate in on-call rotations
