IT Security Engineer – Offensive Security

Responsibilities
As an IT Security Engineer you will be integrated into the IT Architecture & Security Operations group and in addition to normal Blue Teaming and incident response activities, you will be able to conduct Red Teaming and threat intelligence activities to identify and verify possible security threats.

- Proactively find and verify security vulnerabilities in the organization
- Detect and respond to company-wide security incidents
- Design, implement, and manage security controls to protect the company's IT environment
- Constantly monitor the company's IT environment to identify any hacking activities and respond promptly to them
- Accurately document activities carried out, vulnerabilities identified, and solutions adopted to mitigate security risks
- Take part in the Security Operations activities and on-call rotation
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Proven experience in Red Teaming and Offensive Security
- In-depth knowledge of hacking techniques, operating systems, and applications
- Ability to design and implement effective security controls to protect the company's IT environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of major security standards such as PCI-DSS and NIST
- Security certifications such as OSCP, GIAC, or CEH are a plus
- Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) are a plus.
- The languages used on a daily basis are Italian and English (knowledge of German is a considerable plus)
