At Viseca, our AI/ML Engineering team in Zurich develops solutions that drive efficiency, security, and intelligence across the organization. Working in cross-functional teams across Zurich and Lugano, you will help shape and scale modern ML/AI and MLOps capabilities.

You will further develop your expertise in model operationalization, training methods, and scaling data-sensitive AI solutions (primarily on-premises) using industry-standard tools and best practices. Start immediately or by arrangement.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Data Scientists and business stakeholders to create and translate AI/ML prototypes into production systems
Build and optimize reproducible training and scoring workflows
Improve training and scoring methodologies for production ML/AI systems
Implement and mature MLOps practices (experiment tracking, model registry, monitoring, retraining)
Set up and manage MLOps tools
Develop and maintain shared Python libraries and in-house frameworks that support AI, ML and data science tasks

Qualifications

2+ years developing and maintaining ML systems (PhD counts as experience)
Python
Experience with Linux, Bash and Git
Proficient in English
Nice-to-have, one (or some) of the following:
Understanding of MLOps and DevOps principles for operating reliable production AI systems
Basic knowledge of SQL
Experience with MLOps tooling and pipeline orchestration (e.g., MLflow, Airflow, CI/CD)
Willingness to learn and work with agentic AI systems
Exposure to the Kubernetes ecosystem (e.g., Helm, ArgoCD)
Understanding or experience with parallel/distributed computing
