We are transitioning from traditional batch data processing to real-time data streaming, and we're looking for a talented Flink developer to help drive this transformation. Your Role

  • Develop streaming jobs for our real-time fraud prevention platform
  • Design streaming algorithms to curate non-relational data using state machines and watermarking strategies
  • Take co-responsibility for the maintenance and extension of our custom Flink library and update it to the latest Flink version
  • Roll out streaming technology to our analytics platform, including developer and data scientist training
  • Support the extension of the real-time marketing platform with new use cases

Your Profile

  • Completed technical university degree
  • Experience in developing data-driven software systems
  • Strong knowledge of streaming technologies, especially Kafka, Kafka Connectors, Flink API, and watermarking strategies
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and optionally Artifactory and GitHub Actions
  • Proficiency in Scala and Java
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a keen attention to precision and a solid foundation in mathematical thinking
  • Strong product focus with a ‘cradle-to-cradle’ mentality
  • Experienced in agile methodologies (Scrum)
  • Good communication skills in English; Italian is an advantage
  • Payment-industry knowledge is a plus
